Some printers' software is designed to reject any non 'original' ink cartridge. But don't worry, you WILL be able to print! Just follow our instructions if your printer is giving you a hard time. |
If any of your cartridges are not 'recognized' or your printer simply won't print do the following:
1. Remove all cartridges, then turn the printer off and remove the power plug from the wall socket. You need to remove the plug and leave it unpowered for a few minutes as that's the only way the printer will reset itself.
2. Put the plug back into the wall socket.
3. Turn the printer on and insert the cartridges again.
4. You can now print.
STILL having problems? (This is rare but it may happen)
1. Remove all cartridges, then turn the printer off and remove the power plug from the wall socket. You need to remove the plug and leave it unpowered for a few minutes as that's the only way the printer will reset itself.
2. Clean the cartridge chips with a drop of alcohol. Just make sure you don't touch the chips with your fingers! The tiniest speck of dirt may prevent them from working correctly!
3. Put the plug back into the wall socket but make sure it has been removed from the power outlet for a few minutes!
4. Turn the printer on and insert ALL new compatible cartridges. (So not just 1 compatible in combination with original cartridges)
5. You can now print.
